Ran to work at 5am, up a hill and down the otherside, ran home at 2pm, up the hill i ran down and down the hill i ran up. Was blown backward by the wind that blew me forward earlier. Got covered in muck and oil and spent most of the day in cage 20ft up in the air, in between my runs. Oh, and had a spam, sausage, egg and tomato sandwich and a bowl of bran flakes and a fox's classic biscuit that was liberated from a fat workmate who really should know better:rolleyes:
Its been a good day:cool:
An easy 1Km in the pool, counting down the days to a resumption of running
another poor 6 miles around Ewden valley. it felt far too hard
Hour and a bit with club from Skipton off-road. First run since LDWA event on Sunday  New 315s were like slippers on very dry ground and Saltaire Fuggles Bitter nice and hoppy :)

A bit windy over Foxlow Edge this morning. Big Ken got blown over!
13 miles over the moors to the Rossendale valley and back. My left ankle/calf is giving me grief at the moment. It's undergoing treatment from the physio + stretching + lotions and I am trying to run through it and it's pissing me right off!

Covered a good distance in the tempo and felt good.
Little swim at lunchtime at The Copley Centre playing games with Kadi!

Hour and three quarters up Pendle. Put in 2 circuits of Mearley Clough for good measure. Felt my dodgy ankle a bit although it was well strapped up, soaked it in a few streams and took some anti inflams when I got in.
It was covered in Easter tourists up there but great, and I missed the rain. Pushed pretty hard and rewarded myself with a coffee and bacon butty at Nogarth Cafe.:)
A light 4 mile hill run this afternoon around Pex Hill.
Ken's ok. He ran 39.05 in the Salford 10K this morning, 1st over 65!

Through Colne up to Coldwell, tea and scones £2.20. A great ride down the moorbottom under Boulsworth then pie and peas at Wycoller £3.10, stopped off at Trawden to look at a mates 4 baby pygmy goats. Back to Barlick on the canal. The heel is still as painful as ever, so
I dusted off the 9 year old training bike that hasn’t seen the roads for almost three years, and set off for an easy ten mile ride.
Half way around I spotted a gaggle of mountain bikes in the distance – bang went the easy ride as the competitive genes kicked in.
Just back from several days in Bucks. Managed to get some runs in since we were in the middle of the Chilterns. All very picturesque with rolling hills, woods and hedgerows. Felt like a cross country runner! :p Missed my moors and dry stone walls though.
Mind you, weather was better back oop north that down there. :(
