That's wrong. A bridleway is for use on foot or on a horse, cycles are allowed too, though they have to give way to pedestrians and horse riders. You're thinking of a byway which can be used by motor vehicles. Hence all the drama about 4x4s on the Ridgeway, which have now been banned from certain sections in the winter months.Quote:
