(Saturday) From Edale up to Ringing Rog then down to Win Hill up to Lose Hill then cut down to the valley via path from below Back Tor. Time not noted or cared about. About 11.5 miles 2000ft Freely admit to walking the steepest bits but a cracking day out....until I got on the train (view post elsewhere!)
(Monday) A gentle 6 odd mile walk from home up to Loxley Common etc then back. Legs still tired from sat!
Later on reccying the saddleworth junior race courses and then training with the seniors. Probs 12 miles all in all

10m/1800ft hard, well it felt hard anyway!!!!
13m. 7 miles from mossley over alphin around to Ashway and down to tanners. 2 miles showing juniors round the saddleworth junior race course and then 4 miles with the seniors. About 3000ft of ascent
1st attempted run for 3 weeks since the failed treadmill attempt. Sick of achilles not seeming to be getting much easier so thought I'd give it a trot up the Coppice and see if actual running rehab would loosen it up. Felt a bit tight and stiff alll the way round but not too bad now. Don't know if this will help or hinder but even such a short run out up a hill felt bloody good!

Believe it or not a 1500m on the local track. It was well horrid.
32 minute jog round the Saddleworth fell race course. Its looking dry and the descent is fearsome as ever
Just back from 5 smashin' days in N Yorks. Topped off with a run around (where else) Hamsterley forest in Co Durham. Brill! :)

6.00A.M start from Lordstones Cafe in Cleveland Hills. 16 miles over the tops returning via gliding station on Carlton Moor. Absolute peace and quiet and stunning views, kind of reminds you why we love this sport. Next Sunday I'll be running Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge to Ravenscar on North Yorkshire coast in preparation for Lyke Wake Race.

I went swimming before school
5m to me mum's, pot of tea and a natter for half an hour, 5m home, 15 mins sat in river:cool:
An easy 30 mins in the midday sun :)
Ingleborough, up and down from Horton, starting at 9.45 am. About 1 hour 45 mins, recovering from the Gullies yesterday.
Saw no-one on the way up, 1 on top and 2 walking up on the way down.
A little hot towards the end but the views were wonderful.
Making the most of the hotel's gym:

some weights for good measure
Hour or so gentle run from Barden Bridge towards Burnsall and back. A simply fantastic evening to be out and the Dales fashion police didn't catch me in my fluoro green Fell Ponies vest. Happy days!! :D
First outing on the trunce this year and boy was it warm.

Nipped along to Trunce 4 last night. Pretty good thrutch out (doesn't get any easier) but 12secs outside PB for the course. C'est la vie.... :rolleyes:
Still swimming but the injury will have cleared up by tomorrow. Then its back out onto the fells :D

Thursday Ran the new proposed route of the 'G&B it' very tough esp with tired legs
