I've done the race 3 times before and can run the route in my sleep but thanks. :)
No I need to know as want to use it for hill reps but don't know the foot of climb from bottom to top

Interesting climb for hill reps but I'm sure someone will know!
From that graph it looks around 800ft or 250m.
I havent run on Pendle Hill - ever.:o
FTOP is abit here and there.
I dont know where im going - at all!
Its a long way and im 100% certain i'll just get cramp and it will ruin my race.
I did have a thought to stick with someone i know that is a touch slower than me so i take it steady and try and get as far as poss without cramping up.
But, if things go to plan...i may have a date with turbotom and fleeter in the lakes on the saturday.
Forget the lakes, get yourself on Pendle for a beasting!! :)
Ive just realised FTOP is the weekend after mine and tom/fleeters date...so that means im free. Oh no...i havent got an excuse now.
Ok...i'll do it.
If i could stick with you that would be quality....but you'll have to shout at me when i try to go shooting off into the distance.
Golly...i'll do it just so then i can go down geronimo..that looks epic!
Erm...em...can i have a lift please.:o
Golly?! Have I stumbled into an Enid Blyton adventure?!:D
If you're up to it, I'll let you fly, don't want to be holding you back from a decent time. Judging by your performances from elsewhere you should really be a great deal faster than me, and worrying the top half of the field. But if you're happy to 'slum it' in the bottom half, be glad to have you along for the ride.:)
Just treat it as a training run if nothing else.;)
If i wasnt sticking with anyone i think top half is where i'd be.
But it is a 100% certainty that im going to cramp up at some point and just fall further and further down the field
Maybe we should all place bets to see how far i get before i cramp up.
As you say...just a training run and a recce for next year.
Is it pre-entry?
From elsewhere I gather over-subscription isn't a problem, and entries are taken on the day. But for a student like yourself the clincher is it's £5 pre-entry, £10 on the day.
Good lad. You will, sorry won't *cough* regret it! :)
Reckon you two would be a good match for each other actually.
I've decided on 3 hours as a target now. I'll find out how foolish I was on the 22nd :)
Al I may be able to come and run!!
Last year 3 hours 14, year before 3 hour 4- well I ma getting older!!
i'm running
you'll have to guess where about's i die, seeing as i haven't run more than 10 miles since that crodwn jaunt in august this could be very interesting, wont be racing as such, just hoping to get round and get a thirst on for the club do
