Last night.
A saddleworth runners club handicap. 6 miles ish 1000ft. 4th back in the mass start. 1st on handicap.
The irony im going to win it overall even though ive left
DP club race last night, Alport. A couple of tough climbs, bit o' flat, picking your feet up across moors. Finished somewhere in the middle I think, 1h 24m. Perfect night for it, makes you realise what it's all about. :)

Sorry I missed this but I had been out the last two nights so gained a few points at home. Running(racing;)) the Gusset race today to get a time in the results. Guaranteed first place seeing as the race doesn't start till Mon 24th:o
Time will remain a secret until the race has finished......
Yesterday 2 miles 1100ft. Upto Alphin from Top Mossley. 21 minutes.
Today- 8 miles 3500ft or 10 miles 4000.
I have just been for a really hot run down by the river and it was great :D
A nice 5 mile trail run this afternoon from Cronton through the fields and and up to Blundells Hill Golf Club and back.
Fantastic run today!
Four of us headed over to Ingleton this afternoon and headed up to ingleborough.
We followed the track up and over I'b and then followed the path that contoured round to the hill to the left until we hit the 6 mile mark and turned back....decending off Ingleborough via the race route (Jesus its lethal!
The weather was utterly amazing and i think ive fallen in love with Yorkshire!
Although, some army guys wearing 'help for heros' t-shirts did suggest i see a psychiatrist.:rolleyes:

Nice trot out from Holme with a couple o' mates last night. Up onto Great Hill, Black Hill, down the PW towards Isle o' Skye road before a diversion and a, ahem, "direct" route back to the village via a line of grouse butts.
Pint or two in the Fleece afterwards. As it was quiz night we helped ourselves to the free chip butties in the quiz interval. :p
i was going to go for a run, but after still realising me ankle looks more like a mini football, i don't think it would be such a good idea! :eek:
A nice 5ml-ish run out from Burnsall with Mrs and Mrs Weeden and their dog, followed by a couple of pints in the Red Lion. A splendid start to the weekend :cool:
about 11miles - went alone lordstones route on the cleveland way - kept going after the turn around point just to see what was there!

Turbo trainer in the morning. Swimming with little Biara at lunchtime (she's now doing a damn good submarine impression). Gym session in the evening followed by 1500m in the pool again. Definitely a good day today.

18 miles on the Downs with 2241 ascent. Out from Arundel, upto Springhead Ridge, along the top then back through the valley. Bit tired now.
Tanners, Wimberry, Chew, Laddow Rocks, Blackhill, Crowden, Laddow rocks, Chew, Tram Tracks, Tanners. 17.02 miles 2800ft. 4:15. With Fleeter and LiamM.
Good day out apart from the rain lashing it down coming to Crowden from Black Hill. Bit O' everything, steep ups, steep downs, steady ups and downs, trails, tracks, bogs, grass, rock, tussocks
Headtorch run, could'nt sleep, 6 miles, just got back, late night revellers shouting "Your mad" don't care, i'm happy, enjoyed it:cool:
First half-decent run since achilles treatment - 6.3 miles from home (55mins) - even did a few short hills!!
