Fat camp? Does that involve beer and pies, and running in an effeminate way?
Think I'm already there :D

At least you do some running.
Are there ladies at said fat camp. If so im in
By the way have a good one on Saturday everyone, may just see you at Honister, or the finish.
Good Luck (and waterwings) to all Borrorwdalers!
the Slug family is off to the White Peak for a few days camping
Lady Slugge & I will be doing Dovedale Dipper on Sunday
SteveS and I will be book-ending the field for the Ponies
Any word back from our Borrowdale ponies?
All survived in more or less one piece. Saw AK, Lantern, Merry and Stolly at the start. AK and esp Merry seemed to have had good runs. After falling over about a hundred times, Lantern ,missed the cut off. Judging by state of his hands he'd been running on them, which probably explains a lot:D
We're building up to a big team prize win....well done all for your efforts yesterday
Yep, well done to the Borrow'd Ale Ponies. Shame about the time outs. Still next time, longer, faster, higher, stronger. And no I'm not being homoerotic.
Nope, but I am ambling round Crow Hill. Still got the Pony Flag somewhere, do you want it back? It's a nice flag, and now somewhat stained. I'll let FM smell it if he's wants.
Purely beer stains. Dirty boy, FM!
I'd expect nothing less sir
I'm back in one piece, had a good un, Jos and the Crumblies kept me going, AK had a better one and Stolly suffered but still got there, Lantern will be back as will skenaugh.
Good to see you too Ian and Nicky:cool:
Not the same as the Borrowdale Ponies of course, but I have recently got off my rather well padded and voluminous arse, and started racing again. Whalley Nab on Tuesday, Hellifield on Saturday, Farleton (excellent race, apart from all the up and down bits) yesterday. Not fast, I'll grant you, and judging by the pics, not very comfortably, but least this member of the Ponies Fat Club is doing summit (ahem!)
Think I'll have a crack at this backwards running lark on Tuesday. Anybody else (when they learn to read?)
Had a great day at Borrowdale, met new and old people ML and DJ being ones of the old :). Actually had a bad start Friday, car broke down with caravan on back due in lakes 8pm got back home at 9pm. Borrowed the Missus's car on Sat morn and tried again.
It was great to see the crumblies at Honister, I was bit low on fuel, and they sorted me out, I was relying on hand outs at Styhead but there was slim pickings for me, ML managed to get half a Mars bar off Jos Naylor tho. All in all a great day out, tea and sarnies went down well at village hall afterwards.
