    Another point worth a mention is, it hurts more cos you've less padding, and it's colder cos you've less insulation, I know cos I used to be there.

    the Slug family is off to the White Peak for a few days camping
    Lady Slugge & I will be doing Dovedale Dipper on Sunday
    SteveS and I will be book-ending the field for the Ponies

    All survived in more or less one piece. Saw AK, Lantern, Merry and Stolly at the start. AK and esp Merry seemed to have had good runs. After falling over about a hundred times, Lantern ,missed the cut off. Judging by state of his hands he'd been running on them, which probably explains a lot
