Just make sure you send your entry for the Half, not the Full (in November) ;). That's not so much fun.
It's like running the Half, and then being made to run up and down stairs for another two hours...in the rain.
Re: Half Tour of Pendle 2010
Does anyone know where I can find a map of the route? Pete Bland's site says they're out of stock.
Thanks

Not fit enough this year but i notice this is a favourite with many. What makes it so good and what sort of terrain is it. Boggy, rocky etc. As may do it in the future.

The full was awesome. I loved it. even the last climb into the fog and rain...
I must be crackers...:D
I take it the half is the first of the Full

Correctamundo. Get to the bottom of Geronimo, through the stile, follow the wall on your right around until you pick up a great path back to the start through the farmers' fields. If it weren't for HPM I'd be interested in seeing how quick you could do this.;)

Well I've bitten the bullet and got my entry off - seen the descent on Youtube. Looks a great laugh.
Re: Half Tour of Pendle 2010
My cheque hasn't been cashed yet, and it looks like it isn't entry on the day this year.
Before I ring the RO and annoy him, has anyone else's been cashed?

Oh Yea well good laugh!
I'm new to this silly downhill stuff, in fact I think I can climb Geronimo quicker than I can descend, & I've been trying to practice it too!
For reference I'll be the softie in the Trawden vest crying for his mum! Rest assured you'll make at least one place up on that hill :)
