Feeling boosted after a good run at the Box Hill "Fell" Race on Saturday, can't wait to get stuck into some serious training!

lets just say..........not committed yet - but not ruled it out either! may give it a couple more weeks, whats the limit again - if we are up to 140 already (mudbaby)...........

Just get your entry in. This is a good one for a first long race - no navigation, lots of runners to follow and 2 convenient places to drop out if you're knackered.

well sunny - I dont want to take up somebody's place if I'm not capable of completing it - I've never run 24 miles, never mind uphills - although the last four from ingleborough surely dont count.......do they? so i'want to have a go at running 20 odd miles and see if i dont chip out, then I'll enter. you'll be the first to hear if/when it goes in the post...............tbc

That's the wrong way round. You need to enter first to give you the incentive to train a bit.

DS I don't think there's much chance of it filling so get yer entry in. Everyone who wnts to get in should get in.
Now, when you get to the last 4 mile and your hanging on, just remind yourself you said these 4m dont really count :rolleyes:

Moo is righty, its 6 miles from top of Inglebugger to the end (about 50 min for mortals).

I have to add my tuppence worth here. Those 'downhill all the way' miles must the the longest ive ever done. They match up to the last section along the road in the Jura race.

Pikey wasn't too far behind in 30:33. He was flying when he went past me. Just wish I could have hung on :(

I eased off to chat for a couple of minutes as I remember!

Wasn't sure how to pace it cos that was my first 3 Peaks. Will try harder next time, but I do enjoy a fast finish.

Number 53 for me. I've been so excited that it's taken me 2 weeks to get re-registered and tell everyone.
