How close to real time is it? It's amazing and a bit eerie I suppose. I'm not sure I'd have liked it or not when going round?
Looks like another night on the Dodds for the BGR tonight :) Seems to be on Great Dodd now.

Have you got it on largest scale Mark? I didn't realise for a while you could get it up to 50,000:1 rather than 'road map'
I think it must be around real time. About a third of the way up Great Dodd now if it is. Wonder if they're doing a quiz, or playing 'Guess who'? :w00t:
Hang on, think I posted on the wrong thread or the forum has thrown a wobbler. Apologies, please see adjacent thread...
Thanks for a great day out yesterday over leg 1 Bill. It was really nice to meet Andy too. Hope that you went okay over leg 2 afterwards as well. I feel great this morning with no niggles at all so stroll on July , glad that you got to meet Kenny Stuart as well:wink:
Had a really fantastic day thanks Mark! We had a great run over leg 2, pretty good pace all the way too. Ran out of water, it was so hot. Felt good at the end, so feeling pretty confident now. Just need the weather on the day. Wow it was great to meet Kenny, really nice guy and a hero of mine. The taper has now started with an easy stroll this morning and a ride on the new cyclocross bike. Roll on the 14th, can't wait to do the BG now
A certain bestathlete has just got round his BGR in 19h 43m, awesome, well done to him and all his support:thumbup:
I had a text an hour back from one of the support on another attempt today that said "On Robinson now, in the bag"
Started at 1am so I'm taking it as a good thing. Just waiting to hear that they're in. :)
Certainly is, though I've been getting email updates from Pauline Charters too, last one was; Jim in - just waiting on Tim.
Hopefully there's another one coming soon, I'm tired just waiting for news!
Not sure, Ian was doing nav for him on Leg 5, hence Pauline being up that way but that's all I know.
Another update, Tim's in! So that's three for the day that I've heard of, well done to all of them! Brilliant stuff!
It was a great night for it! It was getting light at 3 a.m.....and gorgeous out!! Well done all concerned, finishers and supporters!
weldone all sounds like a good night for it
Thanks Steve. Yes indeed, a great day out with the best support I could have ever imagined and the kindest weather too. We set off at 11pm on the Friday on a 21.15 schedule and made steady gains on every leg - the most being made on leg 4. In a few days time I will have written up my report and will come back here with the link to it.
I'm looking forward to hearing more about your successful round bestathlete. If it's half as good as this blog post then it'll be blooming great
Well done Best athlete, we meet briefly on leg 1 you didn’t want to hang around as you were trying to crack it in 3 hours, I was impressed at that point and looking at your sub 20 hour time I had good reason to be.
Well done again.
Tahr
Hi Bill. I've sent you a PM.
Right for the enjoyment of all Bob Graham armchair viewers ;) I'll be carrying a GPS tracker on my round. The link is http://maps.opentracking.co.uk/bg2013.cfm?n=4 and I'll be setting off from Moot Hall 6pm Friday 14th June. I'm sure old un will be posting the odd update on here too :D
Bill

I'm on leg 4 support duties for an attempt that leaves later than you, we're going over to Wasdale via the Moses Trod so there's a chance I might see you @ Beck Head :)
Crossing my fingers for sunshine!
The very best of luck Bill - just make sure you have all your lines set especially in any hill fog and especially in hill fog after dark :)
