Seems quite a lot of climb I did not think Barnoldswick was that hilly. Shows what I know.

In fact about half way along you descend down a road, then follow a path back up parallel to the road (and since you come back this way you do it twice). Theres a loop from the summit as well, which drops you a few hundred feet, then you climb back up to near the summit, and go back the way you came.

Was anyone involved in the chastising of the bloke who failed miserably at skipping the first stile by climbing over the wall. About 10 of us had a go at him.
His defence was "its a race", "its a race" "its supposed to be a bloody race".
I thought to myself, I'll use that one on him when I overtake him.
"Come on pal, its supposed to be a bloody race, Hurry up"
oh the confidence in my own ability
He completely dropped me and I did not see him again.
Probably for the best eh......

I arrived at the stile just as he was being shouted at. Someone said - "You'll be in trouble on the forums". I passed him on the next hill, but didn't dare make any comment in case he caught me later!
yeah much easier to call him from the safety of our desks.
ha ha, hope he does'nt read the forum.
He did look like he was strugglnig over that wall though.

I was queing at the stile and he tried to climb the walll. Gave him plenty of verbal but it didn't seem to sink into his thick head. Others handed out lashings of stick and I think he gave up after all that. Can't be sure as I got through the stile and carried on running. Never seen him before, he wasn't in a club vest, and I dont' care if I don't see him agiain. eegit !Quote:
