10th day in a row of resting since Dublin marathon. (as long as you dont count 50miles on the bike last Sat). got loads of jobs done at home though.
1 day to go then on Sat morn I'm gonna tear up the woods.
No excuse. Just doing now't today:)
went to the trafford centre - 2nd time in my life EVER - dragged round - god only got 1 cup of coffee, what's that all about??
Feet aching like mad, funny how 5 hours on the fells don't have the same blistering effect.
Doing nowt tonight now:(
Sunday never used to be a day of rest but it is today - apart from pottering around Otley Farmers' Market, washing car, a quick bike service, and shortly off to IMAX to see Beowulf.
After yesterdays nine mile race - fish and chips for lunch followed by a Boost and a second large coffee. I feel drained - probably the weather. Will have a swim tomorow or Wednesday - must start again soon though as Box Hill is only a few weeks off!
Today I rested.
Third rest day. Stinking cold.
Am going out tomorrow whatever!
aint ran since thurs. with chest infection, feel a bit better today and was bored sensless so me and woldsranger went for a 3 hr trot in the fields tonight. felt great to blow the cobwebs out.:)
A slight calf strain so not risking a run for second day in a row- touch-wood ok for a daylight run tomorrow as off work.
Resting now until January 1st 2008, eat, drink and be falling over p**sed, happy christmas:D
continued resting - probably gym again tomorrow and hopefully a run on xmas day - after all its a tradition.
Will have to be a rest day or me as ankle is a little sore after turning it a couple of times on the moors yesterday. Not sure yet whether I will be able to do the Ribble Valley 10k tomorrow?
Rest day for me. Only 2 hours sleep last night. Son and wife both up all night being sick. Mother in laws homemade soup seems to be the culprit. Brisk walk over moors with sister and her dog later on looks on the cards.
Resting today - just off to elder sisters, hopefully she's got me a fab pressie (!)
Anyone doing the Coley canter tomorrow ?
Ice Skating with kids, legs ache like ten men. Slight calf strain as well:eek: Still doing the als tomorrow, will trot round like a pony:D
Too bloody windy for a lightweight like me today so a rest!!
Too right MultiT!
Hard run last night meant I wasn't feeling fresh this morning, but not stiff either. Anyway when I heard the storm battering the bedroom window, and as the dog is away so not need to go out for a walk anyway...well improvement is about stress and rest isn't it? ;)
Jason
No running until next weekend - been in Bangladesh since early hours of yesterday working and off to India tomorrow until Friday. Looking forward to a good run-out in the Dales next Sunday:cool:
Resting, just a 4mile walk with mother in law's dogs. Think i'm coming down with a cold, the night before that wobbly hike an all:( Ballbags, i'll still be there though:D
Just had 5 days of rest due to being unwell. Can't remember when I have gone so long without running. I suppose it will do me good in one way. Anyway hoping to start running again tomorrow now I am better. Keep your fingers crossed the cold does not take hold Merry.
I had today off, as I'm racing tomorrow.
pudgy has had a hell of a l ot of esting this week he has managed to gently jog behind a 21 year old in a portugugese international race in 2nd.. the poor lad in 1st was wondering when pudgy would make his move and plod along behind needless to say he managed to waddle in around 17+ minutes which n the conditions is a reasonable time for the ole lads age cat.. :p
Chilling today after yesterday's Hobble. Quads are very sore but feel better after hour's walk at Bolton Abbey this afternoon. Cleared my head too after last night's Tim Taylor's!
Wife went to an Aquarium in Manchester with kids and her mother (In Mothers car) leaving me with our car for the day. Went to work in it, so done nowt today, this is the reason i got rid of our second car, far too tempting to use for work and not get any training in. Still come home, knackered, cos i'm a grafter:rolleyes:
Day 5 of resting sore hamstring....:( Needs another 5 days I reckon...:( :(
Drove down to Derbyshire this morning and spent day with twin brother and his family. Plenty of chocolate, red wine and an awesome roast dinner - talk of pub quiz later!
