Good to see heather coming back from injury in style.

Pendle Race 5th April.
Think ive only run this once before. I reckon its been at least 10 months since i raced last and although im not very fit at the moment, im going to do this.:p
Just wondering who else is having a go and how do other forumites rate this race?
Cheers.:D

Re: Pendle Race 5th April.
It's a good race this one apart from the track back to barley.
Tough climb up to the trig hurts them calves.
I'll be there.
-
Re: Pendle Race 5th April.
Go for it Baz, and enjoy!
If memory serves me right there's a couple of gates to hit on the way back down DS :D
-
Re: Pendle Race 5th April.
Looks like I may also be here, the race I had entered has just been cancelled.
-
Re: Pendle Race 5th April.

It's a good race Baz. Unfortunately it clashes with Llangynhafal Loop which is also good and an opportunity to run in the area where the FRA Relays will be this year.

Re: Pendle Race 5th April.
I ran last year. Apart from being woefully unfit and talentless at fell races, I really enjoyed it.
-
Re: Pendle Race 5th April.
All quiet on this thread and it's this Sat, good 1st fell race for anyone thinking on those lines.

Re: Pendle Race 5th April.
The less said the better about my performance today. 5th time I've done it and slowest yet - not happy. Going to have a sit down with myself later and have words :(.
Well done Rossy forumites and everyone else who ran and thanks to all those involved in laying on the event.

Nowt to do with it - crap descending and lack of drive I think. A few pounds less may also help. Not 5 consecutive years mind, 1 time was late 90's I think.

Dom - Wharfeego here considers your view to be somewhat different to that which he holds...

Dom - Wharfeego here is considering his final Kendal winter league position of 89th - 55 positions lower than my own result, would allow him some latitude for comparative performances :D (Gotta do 'em to count Wharfeeman!;) )
Hey Wharfeeman - how comes you didn't get to the pub then? (...tempted to ask if you didn't get back in time!). Yon Missus was at the finish fine. Where'dyous 2 get to...?
