Ive still got one from a lady who joined in 2007 and made the cheque out to "The Fell Ponies"

Trog but that would then mean that we would have to vote for a secretary, that would ensure the road to the committee side would be complete.

I'm currently down with a stomach bug and have hardly eaten for the last 4 days, so am well on the way to being the new bonebag :eek:

Oh no....that's what I had last week....it's a busy buggy bug....lots of folk had it....I couldn't eat much and lost 3 pounds (in weight not money! :D)

Had a great run today from Great Ayton, thought it was going to be clag all day, but once me and Him off the tele (oops forgot to pm MG) got to the tree line below Capt Cooks the sun was out and we were looking at a blanket of marshmallow cloud all the way to the lakes, wish i had my camera. Good to hear Mick is doing better. Keep me informed about any Roseberry tomfoolery and the Sedbergh Cake Recce.

Simonside Cairns tomorrow for me and I've manage to sort out a passport for MG to venture into God's own County, Northumbria.:D

I did think that I would have a day out, but my calf has not recovered from Eskdale, indeed I aggravated it on an easy run yesterday.

Still planning the G’Boro woods and Capt Cooks over the festive period though.

I was talking to my dad the other day about my poor climbing ability, he said his staple Sunday morning run in the 1950’s was to run from Middlesbrough over Eston, Roseberry and Capt Cooks and catch the bus from G Ayton back to the Boro for lunch.

He would have been coming, but reckons I told him the date too late, and he has arranged a weekend of romance in Edinburgh for himself and new filly.
I did say get yourself to Keswick but I think he was afraid Amex might whisk his new girlfriend away from him as he knows the ladies cant fight the Magic:D

Don't worry that you forgot to PM me...I couldn't have gone out on Sat anyway.....I had a date with DJ at his homeland! ;)
Ok then....this Roseberry topping malarky....is the challenge the whole route 10 times?...or just up and down Roseberry 10 times?....if it is the latter then give me a few more months to get a wee bit fitter and I'll certainly give it a go....provided there is no time cut offs! :p

By the way....I was the only Pink Pony on show yesterday! DJ was wearing some strange coloured vest which was...oh so common!....not like mine....I was soooo unique! :cool:
Perhaps the prize I won was for best looking vest huh?! :confused:

Swollen and bruised now. Never mind though, it was worth it as deejay was breathing down my neck at that point but he was doubled up laughing at me so I managed to get up and run away :D
