There's been a bit of a conversation on the amount of ascent amongst a few fellow members of NFR. View is that it was nearer about 2750 feet and that things like Garmins can overestimate. Explains why mine shows 100 feet of ascent when I do a few laps of our running track! Still an awful lot for a marathon thoughQuote:
