Out of bounds is out of bounds. Anything else is in. If the boundary wall is the mark then south of it is good to go.

Good luck to everyone on this event - I cant do it this year due to a race ban imposed by our lass after our new family addition arriving !
I hope the weather holds and I look forward to reading about your tales next week.
Do you have grid refs for checkpoints before and at Kingsdale
SD 738814 Whernside
SD 706790 Kingsdale
Everybody up and over Ingleborough.
Cold wind and heavy showers - looks like a hard day (and night!) ahead.
Looks very competitive up-front!
Some pics at Sportsunday from Kingsdale. I here Mark Hartell pulled out with a Hamstring injury around this point.

any news on Nicky?
Grough has just tweeted @groughmag (15 mins ago) that Jez won in record time.
Wrote a long report on this but computer crashed and i lost it.
Potted version is
Knackered at start and never realy felt like i got going, wobbled a lot in middle, pottered a bit, motored last few miles = 14.25
well done to Shaunandrachel - 13.30 something. Kept with her as long as i could but got blown off at Blea Moor.
Thanks to whoever kept cheering me on as he passed me at checkpoints and chatted to me at end - was it you superfly guy.
Be back next year for a time.
oh and anyone know if Fleet Moss detour was longer and if so by how much?
winning time 10h 6 min. jez looked fresh at the finish, swine!
new middle tongue check point not as easy to find, nav to new (old) hell gap has to be taken on a bearing, no tracks at all.
mark hartell dropped at kingsdale with a hamstring pull.
Blimey I look like more of a mentalist than normal in that photo! The photographer chose a cunningly sneaky place beside that surprise drop into peaty squelchiness.
The use of 'stealth green' for the marshal's tent for one of those new checkpoints made it a bit hard to find... although it was my first Fellsman, so I have no idea what the old checkpoint was like to find.
Why thank you Anti-it was great chatting with you and comparing shoes again! I was surprised when you disappeared off as you seemed to be going great guns? For a first Fellsman though its a damn fine time-well done!!
Yesterday was one of those days when everthing is right with the world-I had a ball, largely thanks to fellow Hikers providing entertainment along the way. I was really rather disappointed at the finish as I'd have happily gone round again to experience the highs of the day!
One day I'd like to help out and man a check point, as these people are integral to a successful and comfortable Hike. However, then I won't experience all the laughs and generosity, goodwill and camaraderie, that goes with completing the course?
Hmmm. Maybe one more as a Hiker than I'll do the marshalling???
I've looked through the photos and you look like you spent the whole day chatting an waving rachel!! - well done you and to the 'silver shufflers'!
Does anyone know how the guy doing the Youtube training diary got on? I saw him at the start and once or twice arund the course but didn't get a name or a race number. Hope he did ok, or was at least pleased with his performance.
The YouTube guy got further than expected then. I spoke to him on the way out of ingleton and he was planning to get to Dent and make a decision then. I saw him leaving Stonehouses, then chose to withdraw myself.
I'm sure there'll be a summary video on YouTube soon.
Fantastic event. Just need to get to the finish!
Amazing, what a fantastic event!
I underestimated the mental fortitude required to get round on your own and was very glad to hook up with Denzil and his mates at Stonehouses. top guys and a real pleasure to spend the rest of the day with. Had a major wobble going over FM & MT but felt fresh as a daisy after fresh socks at Cray! Finished in 17:26
We were told that the new MT CP added 1.5 miles, but I suppose that depends whether you chose the southern route or the road route.
I'll get a full report on the P&B website as soon as my brain has recommenced full activity.
Anti - I only saw you at the start! you were long gone by the time i got to checkpoints - I think I might have caught a fleeting glimpse of you coming down off Whernside. great time by the way.
What a great race... very well organised and supported. especially at those remote checkpoints.. managed a time of 17hrs 36mins which im happy with for my first Fellsman. Thanks to Ruth, Pete and Kat who i grouped up with at Cray.. enjoyed a good run in from there with them. Well done everyone that completed..
Whats left to say a brilliant day for me. Started running last May and got around in 15hrs 20mins. Lakeland 50 next bring it on.
Adam you are more than welcome mate. We had a nice little group there and everyone went through a bad spell. Being in a group though helps get you out of it. Mine was going up Gt Whernside, just couldnt get moving, but it all comes round again.
Well done Anti, that was some effort for a first timer!
Thanks to all the wonderful marshalls, checkpoint staff and anyone involved in organising what is the bext event around.
I'm even thinking about entering next year again already!!!:w00t:
Remember the wild video-maker dancing on a fence-post? HERE is the final chapter of his Fellsman story, for this year. Health warning - I had tears in my eyes at the end. And then a surprise epilogue, skinny skallywag in a buff transformed into a genteel type in lovely rimless specs. I wish someone would invite him onto the Forums. (I would myself, but I can't manage to sign in to do it, being digitally incompetent.)
After pulling out last year with a twisted ankle at Redshaw I took it real steady this time, probably way too steady and then had to wait 1.5 hours at Cray to get grouped. Took advantage of the great food on offer at the checkpoints and stayed too long at those as well. Consequently I felt fresh all the way and after getting degrouped at Yarnbury ran all the way to the finish just to get warm. Probably just over 18 hours with the waiting time. The Fleet Moss to Mid tongue seemed ok but went a bit squiggly to Hell Gap. Definately back next year to have a proper go now I know the last third is the easiest bit.
Well done to all the finishers. Some fast times there
Is there a results list available anywhere?
I've heard bits and pieces but I'd like to see a full finish list.
Thanks
Superflyguy.. I certainly remember the group of 7 .. I think there were quite a few of us going up Buckden Pike all at the same time..Gt Whernside was a bit of a blur, just remember running all the way down the other side and most of the way back to Threshfield.. Or should it be shuffle back..Denzil I think I ran a bit close by you guys, I remember the camo hats..
My first fellsman and what an amazing event. Will definitely be back again next year. Ended up in a group of eight from Cray and would like to thank everyone for their company. Think we all finished around 16h 15mins in the end. Thanks to the organisers for a very organised event and fab food stops and also for the grand weather!! Think I may have overdone the eating on route though......
Glad it went well Lins. Did you and Mic Mac run together? It was one of my best days out last year and I was gutted it clashed with something this year. Perhaps next year. Was the ground still fairly dry?
Anti, I finished in the not particularly good time of 20hrs 10mins! Saw you once or twice at the start in the KCAC vest. I've been told by the Commander in Chief that I'm not allowed to do it again, but we'll see...
I vowed at the end that this was my last Fellsman, but the human mind has an amazing capacity to forget the pain and remember the good bits. Well, I enjoyed running down Great Knoutberry, and the last few miles as the sun came up. Also seeing the lovely big moon through the clouds. And being extremely grateful to the weather gods that the rain held off. Apart from those bits it was just bloody hard, and how Jez Bragg and co. get round so fast I'll never know.
I think I'll take up darts.
24 hour darts match? That's a lot of beer! I see you got a good time, how did you rate it? The organization is excellent, the atmosphere throughout the day and night is great, but it is very hard. Youtube guy got to Redshaw, no doubt he'll be back next year to complete. On his video, I saw the two guys I was with leaving Dent just in front of him, so I must've been just behind him at that point. Despite having spoken to him a couple of times previously, I didn't spot him there! Maybe he had a jacket or something on by then - hope he didn't think I was being anti-social!
