We tried to get in Albert Square but couldn't because it was full; I don't know how many people can fit in there but you're looking at hundreds of thousands. The photos I put up were just off Deansgate.

I'm hearing that DTS. Imagine:
Jebb's trainer sacked due to failure to win at Fairfield
Bell moves to Ambleside for 120k/week
Borrowdale to be renamed Sanyo in £3m vest sponsorship deal
Crowd violence follows Bailey's shock defeat at Edale
Sky package: only £30/week - watch every step of the English champs
Taggart refuses to sit on team bus after exclusion from relay team

Makes sense and explains my earlier posts. I left the gym too quickly to see the end. Too depressing to watch as a Gooner

Like the Soreen Stanbury Splash.... or the Daleside Auld Lang Syne.. Fell running has already been ruined by these big corporate sell outs... :-)
Plus there was almost a fight at the Moelwyns 2010? Between supporters and a runner.. not me..

I didn't hear about that. What happened? How "almost" was it?

Ye gads - you're right! Any local catteries or music shops prepared to sponsor my Cat and Fiddle down-and-up fell relay??
Re: Tonight's football thread
It was a language mix up I think.. supporters speaking welsh.. a runner turned around and got quite agitated that they were being insulted.. usual english in wales paranoia.. (the old 'they switched language when I walked in") and then later on at another point there was another flare up...
Gone to the dogs...
* Just seen how english gets a red line under on my computer.. spelt wrong for lack of capital latter.. yet not wales...
