Great headtorch run over the moors from Baildon to Ilkley last night. 7 miles, not a breath of wind, fantastic. 2 pints of Guinness in The Yard afterwards, then train back. Marred only by a drunk Scotsman throwing an Easter egg at a member of staff in the Co-op & then jabbing him in the chest & accusing him of altering the price of the eggs ! Bizarre. (and yes, I did intervene !).
An hour circuit training class run by my masochist nephew; who'd previously heard of tricep push ups!?

looks a nice ridge run andy.
i was up loughrig and silverhowe on a sunny sunday morning in the lakes v nice too.
A glorious run yesterday morning from home around the Settle Loop (which is a 10-ish mile circuit of the limestone ridge that is plonked nicely on the map between Settle and Malham), with my customery add on of a visit to the trig on Warrendale Knotts near the end. By the time I got to the trig the sun had come out and, with almost no breeze at all, it was a beautiful spring morning. What with that and the cacophany of sheep baa-ing and birds twittering I just had to sit down, marvel at the view and contemplate the world and my, all things considered, insignificant existance within it :)
...and did you have anything to drink whilst enjoying the moment? ;)
Lovely day out with the Leek,Stoke crew (dale, Ant, Tracy, George, Jon) around the moelwyns leg of the PBR,GPS track 23 miles capel to Aberglasyn which included a few wrong turns!

Glad to be back on it, been resting a week from Crohn's flare up. All good now, normal service is resumed :)
Thanks Steve, I'm lucky in that it's fairly well controlled. The flares tend to be horrendous but thankfully short lived and I bounce back pretty fast (I was in hospital last year with it and after 5 days I was doing push ups and fast walks round the hospital to the amusement of the nurses and the disbelief of the doctors :) )
3 runs today, 5.5m to work, same home but more climb then 3m trot with dog tonight. It's certainly getting warmer, sweating like a porker!
First evening run without the need for the old headtorch, from hebdenbridge to Gibson mill up and over hardcastle crags. 6 mile , approx 800ft in 60 mins and knee held out ok.
