Sneaky post physio 7.5 miler down the Wessenden Valley, up Blakey Clough and up the old PW. First run out for a couple of weeks.
Yesterday - club run, 10m circa 1hr 15min. Mixed on/off road with a few decent hills
Today - 4.5m in 38min, quick blast up to the Trig point on the Billing and back (500ft climb)
Glad to be back on it, been resting a week from Crohn's flare up. All good now, normal service is resumed![]()
Thanks Steve, I'm lucky in that it's fairly well controlled. The flares tend to be horrendous but thankfully short lived and I bounce back pretty fast (I was in hospital last year with it and after 5 days I was doing push ups and fast walks round the hospital to the amusement of the nurses and the disbelief of the doctors)
3 runs today, 5.5m to work, same home but more climb then 3m trot with dog tonight. It's certainly getting warmer, sweating like a porker!
First evening run without the need for the old headtorch, from hebdenbridge to Gibson mill up and over hardcastle crags. 6 mile , approx 800ft in 60 mins and knee held out ok.
Light. Green valley. Beer.![]()
2 runs for me today, early morning barefoot run upto the roving box some where on a moor near me6.5 miles steady
then a night run over Kinder from Birchin Clough up Fairbrook Naze along Ashop edge to the upper wreck before dropping off to the lower wreck then back down the clough. 6.5 miles again but with 1500ft of climbing, lovely night
