My entry's come through, looking forward to it!
Does full body cover mean I have to carry a hat or will the hood on my jacket suffice.......... ;)
one of these should suffice ;) Attachment 5004
Tearing down Arant Haw is one of the joys of this race, a classic fast Howgill descent - nice gradient, kind ground, early in the race.....tailor made for leathering it down and having some proper fun. Yeah you're right, it means perhaps tiring later on but i always think it's worth it because it's just such a lovely run off. Tearing down the flank of AH at the end on that fast path towards Winder is also marvellous, one of the quickest and most joyful descents I know.
Was hoping to do this as am at a wedding in Kirby Lonsdale the day before, but it's a weekend thing and I reckon a pass may not be forthcoming. It's antisocial apparently to bugger off for hours to do a fell race.....:(
Enjoy everyone
PS - can you EoD?
Don't forget to duck on Castley Knotts if that Buzzard is around again :w00t:
This just received from Jon broxap
