See that's what's I'm wanting but I feel there's not been much change for me & I felt every bit of the extra pounds on Sunday's Wolf's Pit. I don't know where I'm going wrong & feel quite despondent :(

Right, off for a run and back via the scales in the gym.

That's cheating!
weighting yourself straight after a run
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
It was only 4 miles. :D
70.5kg
Now for a beer.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
74.9kg for me. Weight loss this time is as a result of illness so next weigh in should be more of a true figure.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
I have lost 0.23kg (half a lb). Well, I probably haven't - I just go up & down all the time. No apparent connection to what I eat or how far I run.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
Okay
So when I started running again last July, I was 15st 2 (211lb) , now 13st 2 (181lb), aiming for 12st 6 (174lb). I know that is still quite heavy but at 6' 1" and and being big boned (size 13 feet) ....

Have you tried keeping a food diary for a week? Write down EVERYTHING you eat & drink except water. Sometimes just doing that is enough to trigger a change, or you might be able to identify small changes you could make.
Re: Overweight to Raceweight g
lost a pound so 58.64 for me, this could take a while!
