Weighing in at 161 lb, or 11.5 stone, or 73 kg according to google.
And I'm 6'1 and a half with a GSOH:)

Seems I'm a bit rusty too!
But I'd say it applies to two out of the three:)

Re: Overweight Confessions
I've just eaten 12 Quality Street.
I may go back for more shortly.

Mind you, that was last night, and since then I've broken the 7min/mi barrier round my 4.2mi work run for the first time, so I may yet be at my target weight of 175lbs. Just need to work on that all important body fat %!

Re: Overweight Confessions
It's not about seven minute milling, softie; it's all about cheesy chips, Belgian beer, frozen pizza, oh, and a big spoonful of double cream on your breakfast mince pie. More to the point, laying off them for a while :closed:

Re: Overweight Confessions

I had gained 2 lbs this morning :o
I will finish the last of the xmas choccies tonight http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/forum/...out_smiley.gif

I Googled 'really fat sheep'
I'm planning on weighing myself several times per day. I need the exercise walking to the scales :o

Re: Overweight Confessions
I'm not losing sight of everybody's starting weight (using say SS's post from 3:03 pm today plus starting weights for any thread newbies subsequently) and hope to do a proper stat attack every two weeks; by all means post all these gains and losses of bits and bobs as often as you like but be sure to provide some formal weigh in figures at the two week point. How about the morning of the 17th for everybody's next proper weight figures?

Did you not read what I had for breakfast? Toast & honey (healthy bread, no butter), an oaty smoothie (albeit with milk rather than soya milk - shopping at the weekend), one coffee - green tea the rest of the day. For lunch no pasta tuna (no pasta - shopping at the weekend) so 2 marmite butties, and a load of fruit.
Successfully avoided the remnants of the Xmas biccies, chocs & mince pies at work. All good in the hood Tubs, my body is a temple. *ohmmmmmmmmm* ;)

Do I have to do all that?:eek:

Re: Overweight Confessions

Borderline anorexics like you softie don't belong on this thread. One good post-healthy breakfast clear-out and you'd have about cracked it on day one. This is more the thread for folk (like me), who've abused their weary bodies for decades and have the guts to prove it :o
Anyway enough lecturing; I need to go. I've just found six Jaffa Cakes, which I can have as an appetiser before my tea :closed:
-
Re: Overweight Confessions
One question: does taking the baubles off a Christmas tree and sending my brother a long text message count as cross-training? It's quite a big tree :o
-
Re: Overweight Confessions
Cross Tree-ning perhaps ;)

Agree with the skinny, well behaved folks - hop off, this thread is for fatties ;)
Step away from the Jaffa Cakes DT, step away before it is too late :sneaky:
I resisted the vending machine this afternoon, have been for a little jog, and did some speedy shopping on my lunch break - that has got to be worth a millimetre off the waistline?
-

Hey make him stop now - those jaffas are the race food for the Hobble  Hands off the Tunnocks too DT!
-
Re: Overweight Confessions
The Jaffas are safe. I had 25 pence worth of chocolate coins instead :o

hhmmmm...I'm away skiing then, can I post my weight on the 14th instead please :)...or do I have to post my post-skiing weight on the 23rd (which is bound to be heavier - skiing may be burning up loads of calories but I eat more too :o )

Re: Overweight Confessions
I bought a new sports bra today.
Same tiny size as usual - the extra half stone has not added any to THAT area of my body :sneaky:

Phew I was watching swamp loggers on sky but I think this thread is better
-
Re: Overweight Confessions
Not sure I've got the hang of this dieting. I eat less in the day but then get massive munchies after a couple or three beers of an evening  I've just enjoyed my cheese and biscuits for supper mind :o
-
Re: Overweight Confessions
Jaffas? You could eat a whole pack of those and not notice. You would have been safe, DT. ;)
Steady-on OHW. :o Daz, your undoubted enthusiasm is excused in light of the provocation.
This thread is a good 'un. It prompted me to weigh myself for the first time in MONTHS, probably closer to a year. I wasn't surprised to see I'm the heaviest I've ever been - 10.5st or 147lbs, which is 7lbs above my 'fighting weight' (height ~ 5' 10"). I need to cut out some booze, crisps, chocs, pizza, biscuits, cakes, cappuccinos, ..... and feel a little less 'full' around the waistband again.

Re: Overweight Confessions

Now that is real discipline.
Fell off the wagon last night watching the cricket. Had a pizza and a few cans that were left over from Christmas. Oh well, they're all gone now.
Not back in work until tomorrow so it will have to be a long run today.
-
Re: Overweight Confessions
I suppose I better 'fess up too. 16 stone this morning, sorry 214pounds, back to work and early morning runs!

Right I've enrolled in the chub club. Solid top third of the table performance so far.
I'd like to loose about 7lbs if someone could arrange it.
Thanks.

I'm not too fussed either way. Depends on what you're offering ?
