Not doing it but I've done it before so have a good idea of runnableness / unrunnableness of the route. Have a good 'un mate!

Decided to be sensible and after much prevarication am going to rest the achilles and give this a miss.:thunbdown:

Oh and it is definitely 'all runnable' - apart perhaps from the steps up to Thruscross Res CP and maybe BB - enjoy all!:)

May even take my camera and concentrate less on running.

Have a good time, all. There's a dirty big rock sticking up out of the muddy path just after you pass Blubberhouses cricket club (having crossed the A59). You'll probably notice a body print in the mud immediately after it, do me a favour and swear at it will you?

Ouch! Hope you aren't too bad Martyn. Sounds close to where I fell on the 'flat' muddy path heading back to Blubberhouses/Fewston car park after a loop around Thruscross Res last weekend.

Looking forward to seeing the pics DinoF - don't forget to enjoy the food too!

Thanks to all involved with today's blubberhouses, we were blessed with lovely weather which made it all the better. Cheers to the runners who helped with the route finding.

any garmin stats? mine was kind enough to die after 18 miles with the added bonus of not even recording what I had covered.

Mine had 24.14 miles and 3097' !! Nearly as much climb as Coledale yesterday. I hadn't realised the 25 had that much climb in it.

Mine clocked 23.98 mile, glad it wasn't 25 mile, I was shattered at the end.
