How many refreshments posts are on the route?
Officially 3 although last year iirc there were 4, with the best spread being at CP6 (out of 8) at Deerstones, soon after re-crossing the A59 - about 14 miles in.

I'll be there but struggling a bit with achilles so may well be on a c5hr+ 'brisk walk' schedule.

Printed off my maps today. Was going to do them for the Woldsman the week after too and discovered I hadn't entered. Eek! Quick form filled in. Hopefully not full yet.

I noticed there is entry on the day but not guaranteed. I have emailed organiser to check on current entry number but I can't find a contact number on the entry form in case I don't get a reply to email, anyone got one ? I have Coledale on Saturday so just intend to treat this as a long jog to keep my mileage up. I managed to find a map and the nav looks straightforward, just hope I can get in on the day.

will look out for you and say Hi. I also will be seeing it as a long day out rather than a race- in fact I need to add 3+miles to it at some point (ideally before it) to add it to my challenge

    Thankyou for the replies.

Hoping to be down for an EOD, if I don't over cook it at Pendle tomorrow!

All-runnable makes me smile, especially when applied to routes I struggle to walk However, the Blubberhouses route is pretty much all-runnable. The biggest climb (Beamsley Beacon) is around 60% of the way round so save a bit on the day, especially if you're racing the day before :closed:
