I really enjoyed this last year (low key and really well organised), but said I wouldn't do it again as the route's a bit tame from Askham out to Boredale (and back again on the way in), and having done a recce not long before the race I'd seen enough of the road in to/out of Howtown. Having said that, it comes at the perfect time to get a bit of a L100 marker in, so reckon I'll be there. Might go trail shoes rather than Mudclaws this time.
Shame this clashes with XOTF :closed:
Yeah you're not wrong. I intended to come along to the XOTF night do after running this last year, but as it turned out there was no chance of that happening! So I'm saying nowt re XOTF this year, but hope to put in an appearance!Quote:
