It's just that a few of us want to lose a few pounds that's all
Not forgetting a lot of the comments are tongue in cheek, so despite the fact a few pounds want shifting here and there, I doubt there's anything unhealthy going on.

What do lbs mean? Valuable race seconds!

Aye, for most people, but let's not forget that there's a few professional sports folks out there, heavyweight boxers, rugby players nearer the pointy end of the scrum, who's BMI would make them overweight, but are in actual fact carrying all their bulk in muscle and are totally fine!
If it helps redress the balance, I am currently below my goal weight, and have a few pounds to put on!;)

My thoughts exactly OHW.
You need to start a thread for the under weight skinnys SS.
You might get all the top runners on your thread.
Re: Overweight Confessions
When I was a nipper (20s), I had as much meat on me as a butcher's pencil. No need to join a weight loss thread. 20 years later I have a bit of timber on the frame. If you are skinny, or under weight, join a 'I need lard' thread. I bet there are plenty that could do with a pie or two who would be happy to provide weight gaining tips.

I want to lose 28 pounds on my own mate!

About time you started up that personal training thread again 'eathens. You're not going to lose two stone by skipping the odd pie or Mars bar here and there ;)

I think you're right. Had achilles tendonosis since May so not been able to run; just started again on xmas eve. Did 5 miles tonight in just outside 7 min miling so hopefully heading in the right direction.
Eaten like a pig since the start of the year because my brother died just before NYE and been busy arranging things like the funeral, so grabbing takeaways left, right and centre. Also, it's my 30th birthday tomorrow so my New Years Resolutions begin on Monday.
70kg by the end of the year.
