and who was the fell pony I spotted doing a road :eek: race in langley on sat????

Don't know Calf but, there were no Pink vests at Ambleside on Sat thats for sure which was a shame 'cos the weather was absolutely perfect. Sunshine, breeze and a light frost, even the mud had dried up, mostly, from previous weekend.

There was a pony up and around Coniston Old Man and the 3 Shires Stone, but he was wrapped up warm, bloody cold and snowy up there, hooves like blocks of ice, windswept:eek: but fantastic views down into Seathwaite around Hardknott and could even see the Scafells:cool:

There could be a few vests out at the Shepherds Skyline on Saturday if you fancy a trip down, a few of us will be out for a trot and a pint. ;) :D
