    Don't know Calf but, there were no Pink vests at Ambleside on Sat thats for sure which was a shame 'cos the weather was absolutely perfect. Sunshine, breeze and a light frost, even the mud had dried up, mostly, from previous weekend.

    There was a pony up and around Coniston Old Man and the 3 Shires Stone, but he was wrapped up warm, bloody cold and snowy up there, hooves like blocks of ice, windswept but fantastic views down into Seathwaite around Hardknott and could even see the Scafells

    There could be a few vests out at the Shepherds Skyline on Saturday if you fancy a trip down, a few of us will be out for a trot and a pint.
