Just been to see my mum tonight, she's full of cold. Lost my dad 9 years ago and my mum's never been the same since. Its role reversal, they worry about you when you're young and when you grow up, its time to pay them back.

My Dad told my Mum they'd both go together, but life's never that kind. Off to bed now cos i'm up at 5 for work. Once again best wishes and i'll be thinking of you both at 8am:)

Yeah mainly fells. Got into it through training for the 3 peaks cyclocross. Done loads of mountain biking, road riding and fancied a go at that. Got in last year but cancelled cos of foot and mouth. Guaranteed a spot for this year. Mate of mine said get out fell running. So i did, entered first race last year, joined the Fell Ponies and met some good people. Really enjoying it:)

Don't want to bore you all to much :o
They woke her up last night & also took her off the ventalator :) so things are looking good

she woke up this morning in a lot of pain
probably a similar feeling to doing 30 rounds with mike tyson in his prime :o

Mike Tyson in his prime's got nothing on some of these surgeons. Right rough buggers they are. Once watched a hip operation on tv and it was more like WWF wrestling:eek: May everything continue to look good.

well i went to tescos and bought a 5 quid pair which will do for a coulple of short jaunts round the woods, nothing too heavy - wonder if I can claim a decent pair on expenses :o

will remember them next week :D
