I have another approach for the dogs that lollop all over you and get underfoot or run along with you barking whilst the owner mumbles about them just being friendly et al. I keep running but entice the dog to run with me and see how far away it will go. I bet that makes them wonder how well "under control" it is :sneaky:
So dogs wearing headtorches would be a surefire winner for the worn threadbare topic???

I was running in France while on holiday earlier in the year and ran past a man who very responsibly held his large hound (not sure of the breed) out of the way as I ran past. I'm sick of seeing this comment. I too blame the owner more than the dog, but it's not usually the owner that I'm worried about.Quote:
