Similar to me. I could probably do with getting a few lb off but I like sasuage butties and cake too much.
I'm up for a fat trade with One Hill Wonder though if there's something in it for me.

You 'fat neutral' types should keep away from this thread for us chubsters. I can almost feel folk poking my love handles every time I log on now :o:thunbdown:

Re: Overweight Confessions
A nice microwaved porridge with golden syrup for lunch. I have refused the quality street on offer and shunned the mid morning cheese on toast.
Come on!
DT "resist the devil and he shall flee" as St James wrote in his Epistle, keep on keeping on.

Re: Overweight Confessions
DT ignore them :sneaky::p
I am here for moral support...
Now. Do I have to give up ALL chocolate? Or can I have one or two small ones, as long as I avoid the vending machine and it's chocolatey goodness?
-
Re: Overweight Confessions
I think one or two small choccies is acceptable. It shows controlled restraint not obsessive denial. mmmm chocolate mmmmm

Its all part of my 2011 fell race phsychological warfare approach. These mind games will reduce all you chubsters to worthless, dribbling, pathetic nervous wrecks and then I'll be able to waltz round the northern fell races Greggs pasty in hand and claim all the first prizes.

Re: Overweight Confessions
Thanks for support guys. Tuna (just a bit of mayo) on wholemeal, with plenty of salad and a bag of Walkers plain, no KitKat

Walkers Lites I assume, 40% less fat than normal Walkers ?

Re: Overweight Confessions
It's only a bit of harmless DIY community therapy, Fellrunner. Finely tuned athletes are most in need of it after the overindulgences of Christmas. By that token, a fellrunning forum is where you're most likely to find it.

Must admit its an amazing feeling to be above such legendary fell runners as Iandarkpeak,Stolly,Southern Softie and Derby Tup and not to mention Rodders, Stagger and One HillWonder
As a youngster I grew up reading about you lot and your incredible fell exploits so to be above you lot in this table is possibly the highlight of my life so far.

Aha! Very cunning!
Food for today: 2x toast w/ honey (no butter); no coffee at all - green tea; smoothie (OJ, oats, soya milk, creatine, milled flaxseed, 1x banana); pasta, tuna, mayo, sweetcorn, dash of tobasco; a pot of mixed fruit/nuts/seeds; one apple; two bananas.
Actually, scratch the pot of rabbit food onwards: left at home in my little lunchbag. Doh! That means I'm going to be hungry later, with nothing but the leftover Xmas cr8p to eat. Uh-oh...I may need an intervention folks!

See its working already. I can tell from your post that you're stressed SS. By the end of the day I very much doubt you'll be in any state to train.
p.s The Greggs steak bake was lovely today

I think a soupcon of eye of newt and toe of frog would just set that little lot off SS. Though then again noone wants to see small amphibians hobbling around with white sticks :w00t:

I think some bad things on a regular basis are good for the soul and stop you going on an all out bender.
Last night was my first night in weeks when I didn't have any chocolate, or christmas cake, or christmas log or tiffins (....stop it, I'm dribbling just thinking about it ;)) ...but I did reach for the bottle of wine instead:o
Fish finger sandwich for lunch....I know I know but I'm a big kid at heart :D

It definitely works. Pizza is probably the best as it has carbohydrate, protein and veg. Have one tonight and you'll have run a sub 3 hour Yorkshire 3 Peaks in the time it takes to eat a pizza.

Re: Overweight Confessions
Will.Race is almost certainly a subversive, trying to encourage good honest overweight fellrunners from droppping the excess weight they need to lose to achieve their best (and get back into their summer clothes). Do not, under any circumstances, trust him. I think he works for a major food retailer, McD*nalds, or possibly the Lard marketing Board. You've been warned fellow fatties :closed:
