I'm in, great stuff. Just gotta make more of an effort tan I did lasy tear to get training out on the fells.
Just entered this morning, theres almost 300 as I write.
Can't see it been full on first day like last years championship event, which is good news for anyone who never got in last year.
I'm a bit anxious that no-one's raised this on here yet!
;)
you been drinking Fozzy ? :D
I notice Fell ponies entering, home they are paying £20.00 as non affilliated club members.
Hope not home
Is anybody else planning to do the 3 Peaks on the Saturday and the London Marathon on the Sunday?
I'm in!! How long does it take for your name to appear on the list?
good
So the question is if you are a member of the FRA, is this an affilliated club and if not do you have to pay the full price to enter races and for once this is not a wind up but a geniune question.
I'll be there as the slowest of the Milton Keynes runners, but hopefully a good deal quicker than last year.
Cheers - Raymond
I'm in!
I know that the mechanism for Road Races has changed.
With the old system the organiser collected the £2 levy and sent it to the Rehional body such as the North of England AA.
Now, each race pays a set fee - based on the permitted number of athletes but still has to charge a levy for unattached, but the ammount of levy isn't fixed - I don't think so anyway.
Bloody Hell! Entered this. Must be mad. Never run that far in my life!
I did this last year - with a fortnight between the pair of them and can confirm that if you do....it will hurt
Needless to say i will not be repeating this frankly idiotic trick this year!
I should add i was by know means the only culpritt Chris Birchall finished well in both (2.22ish for FLM & top end at the PPP)
That was me. I ended up walking in from Ingleborough as my left knee decided it didn't want to run. The following weekend I made it to 19 miles in the 3 Forts, but the knee was really hurting again so I called it a day.
I'm hoping that the 3 Peaks goes a lot better this year; as for the 3 Forts I am thinking about it.
Cheers - Raymond

Have unfinished business with the PPP's :D
I'm in a minute after midnight, only because i was working away day after and no pc access.
Not sure whether long calderdale hike is a good idea th week before:eek:
Has anyone succesfully registered today?
A clubmate tried last night and although it said only 560 entries he said there was a later screen showing over 900 entries and full?
Its currently showing 619 entries.
