Eurosport only showed 30 mins of the race due to it being ahead of schedule caused by a tail wind! It was on after the motogp. Weather looked good this year, is probably a better race to watch when wet, cold & muddy. Every year the cobble sections seemed to decrease though.
I still have the old analogue Sky which is free and includes Eurosport, probably the only sports channel I would want if I had the new digital set up anyway.

cheers for that Ady. not sure if Eurosport comes with freeview, but seeing as in Rossendale we're not in the reception area it's immaterial anyway.

Greenleafer.....gears were sufficient for all but the horrible horrible Hardnott pass...my poor legs!!

Brakes got a hammering too!! Although I did reach a top speed of over 41mph which to be honest it wasn't the best course to do a pb on as it was narrow roads and twisty turny!! MAnaged 46mph on my mtb - was like being on a motorbike!!

You're braver than me. I'm terrified driving a car over there. I can't even imagine what it must have been like on a bike.
