Greenleafer.....gears were sufficient for all but the horrible horrible Hardnott pass...my poor legs!!

Brakes got a hammering too!! Although I did reach a top speed of over 41mph which to be honest it wasn't the best course to do a pb on as it was narrow roads and twisty turny!! MAnaged 46mph on my mtb - was like being on a motorbike!!

75 miles and over 9000ft of climbing going over Winlatter pass, Wrynose pass and hardknott pass......absoulutely gorgeous day for it though if a little too hot Was kitted out for a downpour!

cacked my pants on the way back down......it was quite busy with traffic though and all those twists and turns!! 1 poor bloke had sheer panic all over his face felt quite sorry for him really!!
