Print an order form and post it, looks easier than all that online ordering tomfoolery;)

I have followed the instructions to order online and it doesn't seem possible - the links to do this do not appear to exist.
I've not been able to do this either today. Will you be able to buy them on the day?
Now I'm no detective, but I'm assuming Brummy John that you are from the West Mids area? I'm moving to Birmingham later this year so a few pointers on good places to go fell running would be appreciated...I'm used to Peak District and the canals in Brum don't look too exciting...
The Three Peaks Tees can now be purchased. Sorry for the glitch. We had disabled the editing of entries as the Three Peaks booklet is now being printed. We've have now allowed you to edit your entry and add a tee shirt (or two).
Have a good race.

" Please bring proof of identity and your Race Number
• Registration desks will be marked in Race Number order split into groups of 100 (1-99, 100-199, 200-299 etc)
• When you register you will receive your Race Pack containing your Race Number
"
reading the above which i've lifted from the website...
hmmm...
does that mean memorise your race number to assist in the collection of it.... or is it being sent in the post and the second bit is an oversight ?
as I've been sent nowt, as yet ? anyone received theirs or expecting to ?
Is your race number the 'team number' listed on the sportident site ? E.g. Liz Casey is number 1?
If not what is your race number?
I have tried to order a hat online. After entering my credit card details the final page was: "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" . So I don't know whether my order worked. Anyone else got it to work?
Follow the link to the entry list on the Three Peaks web site here and your race number is the number in the race no column.
I transferred my entry on-line to a clubmate before the closing date but looks like something went wrong and the runner name change did not work. Am I the only incompetent one or did anybody else have this problem?
Aha! I've discovered the problem. I seem to have 2 sportident identities (registration numbers) and the 3Ps link defaulted to the wrong one. By logging out and logging in using my other number I'm able to locate my 2009 3Ps entry.
Can't keep track of myself...especially when one of the clubs confuses me even more by giving a choice of 5 differently coloured vests...now, which could that be? :D
Looking forward to next Saturday and a good chat as we plod steadily up PYG. (The old rule for back-of-the packers: if you can't talk, you're going too fast.)
Doesn't apply to me, i have no hair to cut off
Nor, apparently, skin. Take a saw. :D
Coming back to Two Toenails' original point, does anyone know why ID is required for this race? I could understand it last year when it was an international event (with external scrutineers etc) but it seems an unusual precaution in a domestic fell race. Do any other events ask for runners to produce ID, and is there a real problem of imposters turning up and blagging the chance to slog 24 miles? BTW, I'm NOT knocking the race organisers, who do a great job. Just interested.
planning to watch, maybe park up at ribblehead and up to whernside and back to hill inn. this will be flagged won't it and ok to walk on the day as spectators as 'shorter' route up to whernside? that is special access on race day only.
Do you get a T shirt for finishing the race (i.e. no need to buy one)?
You hjave to pre order them, £5 each.
I am just wondering a bit here. Last year was my debut.
There was a lot of debate, some on the forum about the perceived extortionate price of last years race which I think was £20, as oppossed to the usual £8.
Last year we got a free T Shirt and quite a few other little goodies in our bag. The bought merchandise were quite substantial items - I bought the long sleeved base layer.
At £16 for this year, and increased entries, I would hope that we get a similar "goodie bag" to last year.
WP i guess you have to take into consideration all the behind the scenes, i am doing the Race for Life in June, and it was £12.99 but then it shown me the merchanise, and i bought some kind of keyring, so it adds up, but i read the goody bags in the Race for Life are all donated, not sure if the goody bags you get are donated or they have to go and buy them.
Maybe someone can do you a breakdown of costs etc...just a thought.
I'm going up too. Possibly taking Manhar (subject to confirmation later this week). Maybe sort car share out? (PM me if interested - gets a bit crowded at Ribblehead). What I've done in the past is park at Horton and jog up the trail to the gate where they turn right to go up PYG. That way catch them going both up and down. Then run back to the car and catch the mid-packers at Ribblehead.
Being the first time I ran the 3p's last year, i wore road shoes and found it quite muddy!
Anybody know what the course is like for this year? its been quite dry, could I get away with road shoes this year?
I will, just wondering? Prob won't get a chance to look at the middle part of the course, where it was quite muddy and slippy last year...
I'll be up on the crosser taking some pics unless there is divine intervention on my achilles and then I will be hot footing it round the course.
I'll charge mi camera.
