No courgettes for me but, for the first time ever a full sized strawberry! My mini ones do quite well but this is the first year I have had any on the other strawberry plant. Its only 1, but it was yummy.

The tally for this summer is 218, not a record but enough to keep me well fed :o. They are finished now and I'm already missing them!
Freezer full of beans, peas, etc. and now starting to eat the leeks and winter greens, which look great - we've had a frost so the flavour is good. Not a bad year for veg all round and the Missus has today made some bilberry jam (very nice) from a couple of kilos we picked a few weeks ago (been in freezer since).
I have ordered six fruit trees and a walnut tree :)
Greengage, Damson, 2x pear, 1x eating apple and 1x cooking apple :)
Molehill acres are looking very good...
I love quails, tortoises and also guinea fowl :)
