Seems quite a lot of climb I did not think Barnoldswick was that hilly. Shows what I know.

In fact about half way along you descend down a road, then follow a path back up parallel to the road (and since you come back this way you do it twice). Theres a loop from the summit as well, which drops you a few hundred feet, then you climb back up to near the summit, and go back the way you came.
