Water at Blackbeck Tarn outlet, some streams round the back of Great Gable as well but its a long way from there to the finish (a stream on the final descent from Crag Hill as well but this had a big dead sheep in it one year).
On the consecutive weekends thing - Jura is the week before Duddon. Fortunately I am away on holiday so cant do Ennerdale this year (again).

you mean the LCT? it's a points competition contested by entering the Lakeland Classics: so anyone who does 2 superlongs (Duddon, Ennerdale, Wasdale) and 1 long (Borrowdale, Three Shires, Langdale), will be classified in the points. You don't have to enter the LCT (I thought?), I think someone keeps an eye on it.

I had hoped page 24 of the FRA Calendar was quite useful; but perhaps not helpful enough?

On a hot year the streams back of Gable can dry up.
The marshals on the controls have been giving out water when I've done it and lots of clubs have people out supporting so you could look like your dying to cadge water of these, this has worked for me in the past :rolleyes: :)

Here it is - UNfortunately I have no excuse not to do Wasdale.
I got three jelly babies and a cuddle off someone on Green Gable one year!
