Ian, well done. You were about 7,200 times quicker than anyone else then.
I had 4 people contact me through here or Facebook and a quite funny conversation with a forumite (who shall remain unnamed) who took the effort to find out who I was and then called me at work to tell me that he'd been racking his brains but couldn't work out what he's done to me.
Probably went a bit far at that point.
Are the insults free ?
Am I allowed to give as well as recieve ?
Are people on here generally thick skinned or will simple disagreements lead to personal attacks and bullying ? Groups are notorious for this...people think because they are in the percieved majority its okay to go on the attack...
Your worst insult....

Still waiting for my personal insult Noel...must say how disappointing the slow response on this site is ,thought my computer was broke...tried fixing it (switch off/switch on ) ..still no joy...out for a run now ..anybody on here had a run today ..yesterday ?
Now THAT is an insult The Heathens ,to be linked to anyone who should have the temerity to suggest the FRA should co-ordinate a group of volunteers from the ranks of the fra ,sharing transport and liaising with the with the people in charge . To go and help the very people & communities who we rely on to stage our races ,relays and other challenges....how very dare you
Don't think you have insulted me, ye bastard!:p
New to the forum so waiting in anticipation to be insulted::D
Rossy big lad, I presume!!!
Stolly ..It's not really difficult less people running around to different parts of the country for entertainment ,the better .Less need to import oil = better for the economy ,less congestion so journey times / fuel consumption better ,also less time wasted = better for economy and the really big plus is less pollution which is better for all the Kids with Ashma and you never know it may help in the fight agin Global warming....A few years time this will all be sorted ..the working classes will be priced off the roads in the same way they are being priced out of the housing market ...The great outdoors will belong to the upper classes once more...it's already happening
Parkruns are the future mate
B.Bill is my new favourite poster
B.Bill is a wind up merchant. His ramblings on Facebook were embarrassing and are fast becoming the same here
Competition time ..first correct answer wins a free day out - Running ,Climbing , Navigation ,remote first aid ,safety in the mountains ect...All entrants to read/understand Ians Hypothermia leaflet before the day out...can include safe river crossing -white water rescue ect to suit...no southerners(unless living up North :o or forum bullies.
Typical club mentality on display here Stolly..have I said something you disagree with...if you don't like wot I've posted why not just ignore it
I believe you do a blog about your running ,had a look tother nite and was surprised nobody had been on to admire it ...Fells and the love of them and the people is why I am on here
Merry Xmas ,happy new year Season of Smiles and I hope whatever is ailing you gets better soon .
Why do forum wind-up characters feel the need for punctuational affectations? It seems this time it's question marks.
I see what you mean but there are difficulties with the definition. For example a Scottish lady whom I know veeeery well describes me as a soft southerner but I'm Northern English. I'm sure that this would be an open and shut case of pure geographicalism if only I could find it in the Oxford dictionary.
Sorry if my "punctual affections " cause you so much grief..really can't explain where they came from .
Any comment on content would be useful ...
Meanwhile the thin skinned have nowt too say..
Nowt wrong wi southerners Oxydepletion, trouble is a lot of em are coming up North because its too expensive living down south...I personally would like to see us close the borders ...But them that are here I always give a warm welcome to ,after all we are all the same under the skin ,just leave them jellied eels at home ..Pigs trotters and Black pudding and good old Lancashire hotpot ,they are the foods I want after a day in the hills ..And Yorkshire puddings with my roast beef on a Sunday with proper thick northern gravy.
Nearly forgot ,I like a bit of garlic bread every now and again ;)
Haha, too late. I saw the unedited version of this post!
Lets just leave it that I don't like to see people coming on here and trashing the place. You on the other hand seem to enjoy it. Horses for courses I guess but, for me, the twat to non-twat ratio on the forum has hit the red zone.
So one less non-twat (or twat depending on your point of view) to contend with :)
B.Bill as nowt on keswick_krumble. Neither has the Heathens, who I've never met but who was responsible for the legend that was John M32
Yup. KK could be a tad provocative (and it was just a game really) but abuse from cowards who hide behind anonymity doesn't really matter; the only unforgivable crime on the Forum is to be boring.
Tolling for the aching ones whose wounds cannot be nursed
For the countless confused, accused, misused, strung-out ones an’ worse
An’ for every hung-up person in the whole wide universe
An’ we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.
Not in the least bothered about Vegetarians Biara, partial to some veg myself, what I do dislike is rabid vegan types who say "meat is murder" ect.
As for non -running southerners on the committee no problem with that either if somebodys willing to put the time in to keep the ever growing FRA going thats fine by me..
I do think some of the southern non fell clubs should be barred from the relays after all if you can discriminate on age then why not on lack of "Fell" experience after all the weather up north can be considerately colder ;)
