Feeling a bit stiff and tired after experiencing a flat 10k cross country yesterday. However, enjoyed a great walk with Mrs Tubber in sun and clear weather. Could see white tops in the lakes from the top of Weets.:)

50:38 mins lower Chew, easy easy paced run....nice sunset, great run :)
Heavy chest cold so couldn't do any running/CV work; so went to gym at uni. 7k warm up on bike at ~90rpm then 4 sets of leg presses @200kg with about a minute recovery between each. Broke it up slightly by doing 50 floors on the stepper (10 mins) between sets 2 and 3, plus a couple of sets of calf raises (not sure of the weight - was about 2 weights short of the full stack).
Finished off with a 10 minute walk (5kph) @15% gradient.
I learnt Florence is a lovely city. It rains in Italy. Runnign 24 miles alone can get boring!!!
But I also learnt that I can break 2.15 and will keep trying till I do.
No running tonight.
2 of our club did the beruit marathon on the same day - given the time for Florence and taking their race report into account you may win this if you enter next year Roadrunner
