Scampi, i tend to find that fellrunning, unlike other branches of 'mainstream' athletics is full of colour characters, erstwhile known as ballbags.....i think this forum reflects that appropriately...hence its colourful

Scampi is having a dig :D. In answer to your question, posting under 'general chat' needn't be anything to do with fell running although this thread is.... I guess. A lot of fell race goers run unattached to clubs or alternatively belong to road running clubs - the fell ponies gives them a common vest to race in, thats all. Oh and if more than one fell pony turns up at a race they'll naturally speak to each other and get to know each other.Quote:
