He was interviewed on BBC and said the ankle he broke in the TdF back in the day gave him some real pain in the last few miles - as you say a good effort

No time to cycle properly today, so went to the gym and did spin:eek:
Good work out, certainly my cadence is getting better. Mind you there were one or two distractions:rolleyes:
I think Daz had this problem a few weeks ago:rolleyes:

Remember if you dont write and complain you get nowhere.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr, bloody roads
58 miles 3 cols, one very big bu**er, others smaller but very steep @ a commendable 15mph. Went with Dougie madman, solo and unprotected. Trouble is he always wants to cycle 1mph faster than the speed you are going, whatever that speed is:eek: I think my tongue was hanging out the entire way:eek: Pain and suffering only relieved by some superb descents, max speed 45mph, probably very silly:rolleyes:
I felt very ill when I got home and had to sit down for an hour to let my metabolism return to normal.
Cycling with dougie madman  - you really are taking this seriously aren't you! You'll be racing Tom on his TT bike next - have you bought the aero helmet yet?
Serves you right for going out with Dougie - that really is asking for pain and suffering .
"If it don't kill you it makes you stronger" as some other cycling bloke said (I think).
Had a grim experience myself yesterday, running, and ended up going to bed at 8.00pm feeling dead :o. Possibly been overdoing things slightly!!
