ok ok. all very funny, krill, raw prawns, cookery knives, condoms. i'll keep my desires about unsheathing everyones weapons down to a minimum; and maybe i'll get a pony vest so that people think that i'm good comapny

Would love to give Fairfield a go but I'm at Ribblehead bunkbarn for that weekend doing Three Peaks. Would cancel it to do Fairfield but then I'd be dropping people in it. Also I'm a bit scared of doing these shorter races as I'm not very fast! :o There's always next year and hopefully I will have improved a bit by then! :rolleyes:

News Flash...Dryderdale Dash, Hamsterley Forest!!!!

Pony spotted galloping to 10th position, didn't recognise him so asked hoo he was on the FRA forum, he said he doesn't have a computer:eek:

Forgot to ask his name so will check results when out, well done anyways:)

Has anyone got anything in their diaries for 1st June? You are probably all doing Duddon 31st May? But I'm working 12 hour shift on the Sat. Looking for something within my capabilities for the Sunday?

MG - Saddleworth is the only one in the FRA calendar (3M/950ft)
(there's also Yetholm Hill if you're willing to venture up to the Borders)
plus Shining Cliffs at Ambergate (near Derby) (keep meaning to do that one meself)
even road races are a bit thin on the ground, I think because it is a big Race For Life day :eek:
best bet is probably:

Thanks very much for the info Daz. They all seem a bit far to drive for those race distances. Would make exceptions for the Lake District though. Might see if I can swap my shifts round and think about the short Duddon.
