    MG - Saddleworth is the only one in the FRA calendar (3M/950ft)

    plus Shining Cliffs at Ambergate (near Derby) (keep meaning to do that one meself)
    even road races are a bit thin on the ground, I think because it is a big Race For Life day
    best bet is probably:

    Humber Bridge 10k...
    Watergate 10k (Gateshead)

    i'd just like to add saddleworth is such an underrated race,more people should run,it's awesome

    Thanks very much for the info Daz. They all seem a bit far to drive for those race distances. Would make exceptions for the Lake District though. Might see if I can swap my shifts round and think about the short Duddon.
