Looking at the photos from the Auld Lang Syne race something to be said about crisp, frosty days out running with the peace and quite of the hills.

Bit of a late start here for a change today, no getting up for a change at 5 or 6am. brekkie time then off out for a run.
Boo!!!! Back in work. It's like the Marie Celeste around here!
Must feel strange going back on a Friday.
afternoon all :D
Yes, all part of the course with me. Funny this has happened for the last couple of years a few weeks before the Helsby race. Just dug the old crutches out the garage from my football days.
Will take it easy now for the next few days and see how things progress.
You been out running today? its a lovely day.
Nice quiet afternoon here with everyone being out.
Just been clocking my miles on fetcheveryone. Have you used it at all?
Worth having a look at you can log all your runs, races, times, splits, terrain etc. you can even download all your own data. Its a massive site with thousands of users.

much to do but am watching Sleeping Beauty with my princess :D certainly beats doing the chores.....
I need some opinions.
Tomorrow is my clubs handicap race - its a 7.4 miler over the west pennie moors.
I reccied it with pacman before crimbo but the race got cancelled due to ice - and its re-scheduled for 2mz.
But, my legs are still abit gelly from auld lang syne and my knee is a tad sore.
Should i run or not, i could just take it easy and set a time to beat, but i may be unable to hold back my self-competitiveness.
If your legs are just stiff etc from Wednesday I'd race as planned, however if you have knee problems I wouldn't.
evening people is it busy on here tonight or not?
Not overly busy
Quiet around here?!
