Sorry missed this earlier post, Sort of lucky, I'm an outdoor instructor and it always eases off this time of year, I rather be doing a bit more work but there's not many people want to go sailing or climbing at this time a year.

5 miles cross country today, then down to the gym tonight for a swim. Still a bit sore from the David Staff race on Sunday (first race in ages):)

Usual 9 mile bike commute plus 54mins hilly road run - milder than of late out there this evening.
12 x 400m on the track. Enough said. Will post times in a few weeks when they get quicker.

5 miles XC tonight in the dusky hour in heavy rain and thick mud. Really enjoyed it even though I was soaked to the skin.
well after no sleep since tuesday 5.30am i went for a run tonight , 9 miles and i was wobbling all over the place :o
3 miles on sunday towed round by the dog.. yes towed! :mad:

No running for the last 2 days. Too cold outside, too much traffic and the hotels treadmills are flippin rubbish. So ive eaten and drank and trawled the internet.

Did leg 5 of Calderdale yesterday as a recce; Wainstalls to Shelf and back. Really enjoyed it apart from the rock slab steps down to the stone bridge over the river; absolutely leathal...any suggestions on how to get down them without breaking my neck would be much appreciated.

5 minute walk, 15 minute slow jog, four sets of sprints between the goal posts: 41.6, 43.3, 46.3, 42.6. Ten minute slow jog, 5 minute walk, 10 minute stretch.
Just a steady 7 on canal bank and back on river bank from Keighley to Bingley and back.:)

5 mile blast on the road,been scared of road running becuase i thought it would hurt but it didn't,it's a change from stumbling about in the darkness anyway :p
CWR leg 3 up at pace back steady just 9.5 mile.
Its getting sloppy:) should slow the roadies down a bit and anyone who does not have grippy shoes:)

Well, having just moved to Settle with a small mountain just out back, I went on my first foray into the nearby hills yesterday morning. More exploration than serious running but its fantastic to be utterly out of puff, stood on top of a peak over looking the Ribble valley..... 10 minutes after leaving home :)
a gentle jog with a weighted rucksack bout 12 miles up and down hills.;)
a few runs this week :) still not back into it properly but a couple of dawn runs in the countryside near my hotel (pure luxery, noone and nothing about, but just a shame I had to keep hurrying back in time for breakfast and course :rolleyes: )
and a couple of sessions on the treadmill in the hotel gym :D
Bike commute + 36 mins road run today after a dodgy tum yesterday- putting it down to Ainsleys cornish pasty I had for lunch.:(
A short 3 mile road run last night was quite busy so never had a lot of time. Managed to hit the 80 mile mark for the month most of it in the last 2.5 weeks.
Just a steady 5 mile while lads were training at football.
