Would a power stagger do it? Being optimistic.
Can talk you through route on Tuesday at club if you want? Particularly the "tricky" sections at the end of RV up and round to the edge and the bit through Menston.
Re: the last bit up the Chevin - don't worry about it - I pretty much consider when you've got to East Chevin road, it's all over bar the shouting in terms of effort - East Chevin road is downhill and you only need to let you legs go, as you can walk up the Chevin and then let the legs go back down into Guiseley.
Thanks, Richard. I'm not sure whether I'll be there on Tuesday, but if I am I shall pick your brains. I'll be with the crowd at the start, but some pointers for the end of the route when folks may be more spread out would be much appreciated.
Hmm, my fingers seem to have engaged before my brain! East, West, what's the difference?! ;) I'm too busy thinking where I need to help out and marshal at the AIRE orienteering event on Chevin & Danefield in the evening.
My legs are going to love me standing around in the cold after 22miles around the Rombalds course.
Anyone who fancies a bit extra after the 22mile warm-up is more than welcome to have a go: http://www.aire.org.uk/ClubDocs/2013...13%20flyer.pdf
Maybe I should stick to that, since my nav obviously needs further improvement!
Not going to be able to run sadly as I'm having problems with my gall bladder at the moment and just found out it's got to be removed
I don't want to waste my place and I understand that there is a waiting list. So if somoene wants my place shout asap or else I'll contact the organiser so someone on the wait list can have it.
