Very good, very very good.
I'm back after finally having made a full recovery after Duddon, apart from the several toes which I am sure are getting ready to fall off as we speak. Why, oh why didn't any of you try and persuade me NOT TO DO IT!!!!!

Never having had 10 men, I can't vouch for that:eek: Was about to give up at 3 Shires Stone if Mrs C hadn't yelled at me and Mr C hadn't given me that drink. Gosh there's a thought, if she hadn't had her accident they wouldn't have been there I would have packed it in:eek: Once I got up Swirl Howe I knew I'd do it, except maybe when I fell in the bog at the bottom of Caw. Took just over 5 hours. You'd have loved it, after all 4 mph is your pace isn't it?:D
Swelling went down but going to the gym the other night didn't do it any favours and it swelled up again. Looks normal now but still can't fully weight bear. Good news is I can use one of those hill climber machine things without putting pressure on the front of my foot (not sure what its called but it's not a stepper).
Two weeks down and four to go....fingers crossed.
Still bloomin painful...especially when the cat trips me over!
Check out tonight's music thread...you might like it! ;)

So after 6 weeks in the gym, will a speedster Pony emerge?????;) Have a look at The 3 Shires race in September. I think a few Ponies are intending to that one.
[QUOTE=Deejay;134155]Ooh I do hope so...but I've never been good at speed no matter how hard I try! It's not in me jeans I think!
September sounds like a marvelous goal for me, after having to ditch the Lyke Wake this July. Thanks for the info DJ.
Ps... are carrots in season in September cos I'm dying to try the cake! :D
Where have all the Ponies gone? No posting for over 24 hours, is this a record? The thread's nearly slipped to page 2, so I thought it was time for action.
Yo Master,remember me:eek:
Hoo's yer feet the day man:D
Went for a translation of this on babelfish. Decided on German in honour of tonight's Euro game. Result as follows:
Sicher willen einige von ihnen zurück auf dem neet marra, wenn thev oben vom Wochenende ernüchterte
Oddly, I understand the German better, even though the words I didn't understand in English remain unaltered.
