Today I ran to my mother in laws to collect the car left there yesterday - about a 40 minute XC run. When I got there I realised I didn't have the car keys so my mother in law drove me home to get them. She dropped me off then drove away without me. So I biked down there (faster route by road) and when I arrived she said "What are you dogn back here?". Ho Ho Ho.
I did get a lovely new bike pump from Santa though.
4 mile on the road after a six day break with a chest infection, nice to be back out there ! :)

5hrs trying to get round the 3 peaks. Very cold and very wet, river crossing at Ribblehead not possible had to find a bridge lower down. The place was full of reporters as 2 pot holers had died.
5 miles up Hameldon in mi new Mudclaw 330's, nice to have some grip after using some old Felldancers with not much stud left.
Calf STILL stiff so have made an appointment with Nick Dinsdale in Clitheroe next week as doing nothing about it for 10 weeks does not seemed to have worked!
Six miles on the hills over Glossop
5 mile recovery run on moors. Legs a bit tender from 10mile jaunt yesterday.
75 mins at the gym - mostly bike (33 mins) + x-trainer(12 mins), weights and treadmill - 10 mins at max 10km/h - good news is the calf seemed fine after all that so hopefully get a short (outdoor) run in before the year is out.
47.7 miles, 5,500ft in just under 12 hours , Check out long distance challenges
71 on the bike. Should have been at least 10 more but peeps had mechanical troubles so we cut it short. At least it was pretty much dry today.
Changed my mind and been out with a strapped up ankle and done 4.3 mile around the XC and trail paths of Pex Hill. Took it steady and felt not probs with my ankle.

Very little traffic this morning led to a PB of 35 mins up to Austwick in the car. Did 11 miles/2260'. Not many peeps knocking about. Couple of runners coming down from Ingleborough towards Horton and a few walkers here and there. I took a tumble on the descent but fortunately is was below the rocky steps so I had a fairly soft landing (and nobody saw!!).
very easy 2+ miles walk/jog a bit, stop, watch runners, chat, walk/jog a bit...stop etc..on Haworth moors:)
A short 4 mile blast on the roads today rather than taking part in the Auld Lang Syne race due to ankle injury. Should be okay for the fells again by the weekend.
8.7 mile today over the trail paths around Pex Hill and Sutton Manor.
First time for years I have not had a hangover on new years day. Spent the day messing about in the snow with the kids, about 2 feet of snow in the garden now. Had to get on to the house roof to clear the central heating flue and Chimney stacks. Nearly came a cropper.
So much snow two of my kids completely buried my wifes car - Chrysler voyager!
Anyway, about 4 miles on the roads in the dark in the snow. Put the walshes on which helped but still hard going.
1/2 hour on treddie this morning, speed session later on before the weather turns nasty.
Just a leg turning 22 on the bike to the physio's and back. Was going to go for a spin after my session but I was in with him for 2.5 hours!!
Speed work up Holcombe Hill... too b****y cold! Couldn't feel my fingers by the time I got to the tower!
Gonna go to the gym where it's nice n warm. :D
5 miles on the roads
12 miles on singlespeed crossbike, 3 mile of which running with bike on shoulder, deeply depressed to be back at work especially when wife's off till next week and rubbing it in:mad:
Another one who has gone back to work today, so only did a very short 3 mile in 20 minute belt along the roads and back on a very cold night indeed.
Early finish from work today, so manged a 6 mile run on the trail paths around my usual route of Pex Hill. Still very cold with ground frost.
