I know - bit too close for comfort - they decided on Friday afternoon that they wanted to exchange contracts today and complete tomorrow!!! The company that have our stuff in storage only had one slot left this week to get our belongings to us (Friday).
Thankfully I have the Christmas tree in the boot of my car so it can go straight up when we get the keys tomorrow - priorities and all that :closed:

Just cleaned the car, pointless really, will be dirty again once I've taken it down the 65 and 61 to Manc tomorrow !
I can't even see anything in my wing mirrors anymore they are so dirty from trundling up and down the M6 ukhursty, p'raps I should get it cleaned up too :w00t:
In other news I picked up the keys yesterday to my amazing new house in derbyshire :cool:
As we weren't sure whether we'd be in for Christmas, I had the tree and deccies in my boot, so that went up straight away last night, even though there is nothing else in the house yet :w00t:
Now we just need the rest of our stuff (currently in storage) to arrive on Friday and we can get ready for a great Christmas, can't wait to wake up Christmas day and go for a wander across the fields :thumbup:
Always clean your car after a run as then you can have a good warm down stretch as well as doing a prewash on yourself :thumbup:

I managed to get into Morrissons early this morning for the last minute fresh items I need for Christmas/Boxing Day Dinners. It was warming up nicely for the big crush in a couple of hours time. This particular branch is a bit of a small store so tends to get a bit of a competition between the staff restocking and the customers stripping the shelves. Something has to give and this morning it was 3 jars of cranberry sauce spread liberally on the floor and customers skating all over it :w00t:

peaceful here! didn't get up till 8.45, we still havent done the prezzies! Mrs and Mini IDP at church, I've just put the Duck in with roasties made from the baked potatoes I did in the woodburner last night.
A new idea for Christmas dinner is a carvery. Mrs S has cooked the Beef, Ham and Turkey.
Can't wait. More meat the better.
Apparently I'm having curry for dinner. Not sure if it's turkey curry??
